• We quadrupled the production of our popular rosé wine for 2010, and it’s nearly sold out. Made from only red grape varieties, this wine is fresh, crisp, and refreshing. Made in the French Loire Valley style from the “bleedings” of crushed red fruit. Made from Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Bottled with a Stelvin closure to preserve its delicate color and fruit characteristics.

2009 Glenway Vineyard Cabernet Franc

• Our first vineyard designated Cabernet Franc and it comes from the Glenway vineyard surrounding the winery. Robust and full-bodied, this wine exhibits the delicate fruit and spice characteristics of Cabernet Franc and the earth and toast character of Glenway vineyard. An exceptional wine from the 2009 vintage. Ageable for at least 10 years. 100% Glenway Vineyard Cabernet Franc.

• A club-only wine. Made in limited quantities from the Seyval Blanc vines of our Glenway vineyard. This is a fresh, focused wine with a pleasant acidic bite. Stainless steel-tank fermented and bottled early to preserve the fresh character of the variety. Completely dry. 100% Seyval Blanc. Serve cold.

• A dark and robust blend ofBordeaux varieties dominated by Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The aroma is classicBordeaux with aromas of cassis and roasted coffee. The palate follows with subtle spice and fine tannins. 42.5% Merlot, 27.1% Cabernet Franc, 14.9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11.6% Petit Verdot, 3.9% Malbec. Drink until 2021.

• A hint of honey-laced toast on the nose lends to this wines’ soft, warm palate. Toasty oak overtones are interwoven with splices of orange peel, and capped with a creamy buttery finish. Barrel aged for 8 months in French andVirginia oak barrels, this Chardonnay underwent 100% malolactic fermentation.

• This is a no-oak Chablis style Chardonnay that captures the essence of Chardonnay. Aromas of fresh fruit, lemon grass, orange blossom, and crushed wet stone. The palate is austere, dry, but with beautiful structure. Completely dry. 100% Chardonnay.

2008 New World Red

• Classic left-bank Bordeaux character in this blend of Virginia Cabernet Franc and grapes from family’s  Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard in California. Deep, brooding, and complex.  Aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels. Drink for the next 9 years.

2008 Cabernet Sauvignon

• The sleeper hit of 2008! Time in the bottle has let this wine evolve into something special. Classic Bordeaux character. Aromas of fresh jam are followed by eucalyptus that translate into the palate. Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Full malolactic fermentation. Completely dry. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.

• Gorgeous dark color and pure Cab Franc character. Subtle toasty spice on the nose. Reminiscent of the best of French Loire Valley Cabernet Franc. A streak of minerality runs through the palate. 14 months age in mostly Eastern European oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation complete. 100% Cabernet Franc.

• This is a bold wine from the extraordinary 2010 vintage.  Ripe aromas of kiwi are followed by classic Viognier characters of apricot and honeydew melon.  The palate brings delicate toast and oak flavors to balance the fruit.  Fermented and aged in French oak barrels. 100% Viognier.

2008 Cabernet Franc-Chapelle Charlemagne vineyard

• Expressive toast, spice, and jam aromas. Classic Cabernet Franc black pepper spice on the palate against backdrop of cassis, toasted barrel character, and well-integrated tannins. 12 months barrel age in newer Eastern European oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation complete. 100% Chapelle Charlemagne vineyard (Rappahannock Co.) Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2013.

• This is a no-oak Chablis style Chardonnay that captures the essence of Chardonnay. Aromas of fresh fruit, lemon grass, orange blossom, and crushed wet stone.  The palate is austere, dry, but with beautiful structure. Completely dry. 100% Chardonnay. Drink within 6 months.

2009 Cabernet Franc

• 2009 was a great year for Cabernet Franc. This elegant wine is ripe and extracted yet restrained and complex. Gorgeous dark color with aromas of jam, spice, and toast.  Medium bodied palate with refined tannin structure. Completely dry. 100% Cabernet Franc. Drink within the next 5 years.

2007 Cabernet  Franc

• From the extraordinary 2007 vintage. This wine is lush, ripe, and showing the first mellow signs of age. Displays the black fruit, earth, and mineral characteristics reminiscent of a great Bordeaux wine. 75% Cabernet Franc and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. Gold medal winner at the 2010 Grand Harvest Awards.
